CalendarWorld compiles holiday data from official government documents and presents it for easy reference. The site is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government. The official source documents cited on each page always take precedence over this site.
Dates can change
Governments occasionally revise holiday and collective leave dates after the initial decree — in Indonesia, Islamic holiday dates in particular follow moon-sighting (isbat) decisions made shortly before the date. The site is updated when amendments are published, but there can be a delay.
Translations
Holiday names are translated into English for readability. The official names are the Indonesian ones in the source documents; in case of doubt, the original wording prevails.
