Collective leave (cuti bersama) consists of extra days off set by the Indonesian government to bridge national holidays with weekends. Under the official decree, taking collective leave is deducted from the annual leave entitlement of employees and workers.

What is the legal basis for Indonesian holidays?

Each year the Indonesian government sets national holidays and collective leave through a joint decree (SKB) of the Minister of Religious Affairs, the Minister of Manpower, and the Minister of Administrative Reform.
